A trend today is to have brass hardware chrome plated for practicality. Brass is generally supplied lacquered to keep it bright. However, the lacquer deteriorates, often unevenly. Chrome plating eliminates this problem. We can apply chrome plate with a polished or satin finish to all non-ferous metal hardware items.

Alternately we offer a service of stripping the lacquer from brass and aging it, this finish is often referred to as florentine. We can achieve a slightly aged look or a very dark, dramatic effect after waxing. We can advise on and supply all your traditional hardware requirements and refinish according to your instructions.
